Owners and sale
The plaza was sold in late 2023. A Marcus & Millichap team represented the seller, a local private investor; the buyer was a private New York-based 1031-exchange buyer [S1]. Nassimi Realty announced that it had acquired Turney Town Plaza together with Four Flaggs in Niles, Illinois, for about $30 million combined [S2]. A 2025 county planning sheet names the owners as Turney Town Plaza TIC Owner LLC and HPNY Turney Town Plaza LLC [S3].
What the city plans
The city's 2020 Master Plan named the plaza a catalyst site for redevelopment, and it is the focus of the city's Turney Road transit-oriented development study. The concept shown there calls for mixed-use buildings, townhomes and public space. The planning sheet says the owners are out-of-state buyers interested in finding a local redevelopment partner [S3]. This directory has no part in those plans and no inside knowledge of them.
Not the Grannis & Orme center
